From the Stage to the Strategy
I'm Paul Secord, aka Nashville Road Coach. I've been in your shoes. I know what it's like to stare at an empty calendar. I know the stress of a merch table that isn't moving. I understand the sheer survival mode of trying to make ends meet as a full-time artist.
My journey in the music industry spans over 35 years. In that time, I've performed more than 3,000 shows across 43 states and multiple countries. While my roots are in Gospel, I've sung rock for Disney, trained classically in opera, written and produced country music, and worked with some of the best session players in Nashville.
But my true passion isn't just being on stage — it's helping other artists get there.
Why I Coach
I've seen incredibly talented artists — from Country and Pop to Rock, Bluegrass, Singer-Songwriters, and Gospel — struggle not because they lacked musical ability, but because they lacked a proven strategy. They didn't know how to book shows, how to price their merch, or how to actually survive in this industry.
Talent gets you on the stage. Strategy keeps you there. All are welcome here. I keep it casual, rooted in what I know and believe, never crass, always friendly and professional.
